Dan Corcoran | Chief Executive Officer

Dan’s passion for quantitative finance led him to start Volos in 2014 and assemble the engineering talent to develop software for the investment industry of the future. In order to grow Volos, Dan withdrew from Babson College, where he was a Weissman Scholar. Dan has presented options research in industry groups including the CFA Society of Boston, the Financial Services CIO Roundtable, and QWAFAFEW.

Saif Sultan | Chief Technology Officer

At Volos, Saif applies advanced mathematical theories to strategy optimization and valuation. Saif has experience as a Quantitative Analyst at Banco Santander where he worked to develop enterprise risk models for mortgage backed securities. Saif completed a BS in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology in Pakistan and both a Masters and Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from Northeastern University.

Tom Corcoran | Head of Platform

Tom leads web development at Volos, where he seeks to represent the intricacies of options in an intuitive and graphical fashion. Tom has experience designing and developing his own applications for mobile and web and is proficient in many programming languages including Angular JavaScript, C, Python, and SQL. Tom also has experience as a summer analyst at Putnam Investments within the technology division. Tom holds a BA in Computer Science from Boston University.

Jeffrey Corrado | Managing Partner

Jeff leads sales and client relations at Volos. Jeff has experience in institutional equity research and sales at Furey Research, the Boston Federal Reserve, and Granahan Investment Management. Jeff completed a BS in Finance from the Marshall School of Business at USC and an MBA from Babson College. He also holds Series 7 & 63 licenses.

Jeremy McElrea | Head of Indexes

Jeremy leads Volos’ index development and oversight, joining Volos after 18 years at Barclays, where he served as a Director in Cross Asset Sales and Structuring. Jeremy has extensive experience designing and marketing systematic risk premia strategies, volatility products, bank capital relief transactions (CRT), structured credit deals, index total return swaps, and flow derivatives. Jeremy holds an MBA with Honors from the Wharton Business School and an undergraduate degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from University of Canterbury.

Thomas Ducrot | Business Development

Prior to working with Volos as a consultant, Tom served as an Executive Director in Capital Introductions for Morgan Stanley from 2010 to 2016 where he concentrated on listed derivatives and systematic strategies. Prior to his tenure at Morgan Stanley, Tom worked for Newedge (now Société Générale) in capital introductions for futures managers and investors. Earlier in his career, Tom worked in venture capital. Thomas has a B.S. in Management from Dauphine University in Paris as well as an M.S. in Finance from ESCP School of Management in Paris.
